Shawn A. Khokher, Assoc. AIA

Architectural design has always fascinated me. At 10 years old, I settled on pursuing the field of architecture and have been at it since.

Presently, I am a PhD Candidate at the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Kansas. I am exploring the intersectional study of robotic additive manufacturing (3D printing), sustainable alternatives to cement-based concrete in the form of geopolymers, and next generation insulation in the form of phase change materials or PCMs.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies in 2019, my Master of Architecture in 2021, and my Master of Arts in Architecture in 2024 from the School of Architecture and Design at KU.
